Adriel Jeremiah Green

It is not always easy to be rich and successful, but it would seem it came natural for Adriel Jeremiah Green. He is a NFL wide receiver and he is a star. He is one of the top receivers in the NFL and he is only in his third season. He is six feet four inches tall and 207 pounds. He was also the fourth pick overall in the 20ll NFL draft.  It is surprising that Adriel has made it this far because he started playing football in high school and has been through a lot. Life can throw a lot of difficult events at you and for Adriel Green this was very true and these very traumatic events would change his life forever.
Adriel had a brother named Avionce and they did everything together. He looked up to his older brother and his brother would take care of him. Adriel said sometime Avionce would tell his parents, “Mom. Mom, Dad you don’t have to worry you don’t have to wake up I’ll cook something for me and A.J to eat.”  At age nine Avionce ended up dieing in a car accident, which Adriel ended up surviving with no injuries. After the car accident Adriel said to his father, “Daddy I tried to wake Avi up, but Avi wouldn’t wake up, Avi wouldn’t wake up I tried but he wouldn’t wake up.”  The loss of Avionce was devastating to Adriel and he struggled to get over his brother’s death. When Adriel’s mother, Dora, was asked about how Adriel took the death of his brother she said, “He was sad all the time. He would come in and look at Avionce’s picture.”   Upon Avionce’s death he joined the juggling team and performed at high school varsity games.
As he got older he realized juggling was childish and joined real sports like basketball and football. The juggling help Adriel with hand eye coordination and was an automatic star in football. When John Mckissick was asked about Adriel he said, “A.J was about as talented as a guy I’ve seen. He was just dominate in everybody that we played.”  He was also a very talented basketball player and started varsity his freshman year. His coach was Louis Mulkey, but Mulkey was an assistant coach and he was no ordinary coach because he would sometimes seat right behind A.J in class. Mulkey would do this because A.J was not a good student and struggled in school. Mulkey was also a fire fighter and was killed in a fire. Adriel’s family was watching the fire on the television and Adriel said, “ Coach Mulkey ain’t come out yet daddy.” The death of Mulkey really hurt A.J and he felt when there was someone to look up to they were taken, but Adriel didn’t give up. Adriel had an exceptional senior year in football and lead his basketball team to a state championship. Adriel has been through unimaginable situations and he just says, “ I juggle all situations that comes my way.” Adriel is a tough guy and has been trough a lot, but has realized through pain there is success.
